no no no. It's Minneapolis... And Yes... I had to use spell check to get it right.
Last Weekend my Eldest Male cousin married his BEAUTIFUL bride. I could not be happier for the two and the wonderful life they have planned together with their "Special Dog".
It was my sophomore year of high school, and my grandparents let me crash their trip to California. Sometime that week i had walked out of the shower, in my towels and Todd had been walking around, on Skype With his friend Jenn. So I like to joke that I was the first to meet her.....
But While I got to spend a long weekend in Minneapolis, I got to experience some really cool places and people. So here Is a little look into my trip.
make sure you're getting a full time education,
oh but make sure you're working,
and make sure you're getting good grades,
don't forget to make sure you're staying in good shape,
make sure you're keeping up on homework,
maybe you should make sure that you have enough money and work more hours,
and make sure that you're maintaining every relationship,
make sure that you make time to work out.
make sure to keep yourself pulled together in front of people.
make sure youre planning for next semester.
make sure youre saving money.
make sure you some how find a way to keep your head on and breath once in a while.
I have been seeing a lot of people saying "I am so blessed with...." and they filled that in with t.v shows, movies, shoes, and it goes on. Don't get me wrong I appreciate my t.v shows, and movies and what not ,but being Blessed is so much more than artificial, temporary things.
The t.v show will come to an end, The movie will eventually roll the credits, the shoes will wear out, the netflix subscription will be up. God has blessed us with so much more than materials and silly things.
Family. My mom, dad, older brother, younger brother, my cousins, and even some them, new spouses. Grandparents, whether they are with me, or in heaven. Aunts, uncles, Families that are not family by blood but I know I could go to them with anything at any time like my own family.
Love. Not like "Oh my word I LOVE that lipstick," But more like the Love, "As a person you are wonderful and I love you."
And Experiences. The times we've learned lessons, Good ones and bad ones. This year especially for me has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Making friends, losing friends, Falling in Love, then crashing out of it. I have been blessed with day after day In Gods love to experience so many different life lessons, and other silly things. And that to me makes netflix less substantial, the heals I had to have less special, and even my make up unnecessary.
I am thankful for everything I have, but I am Blessed by God with my family, love, and experiences.

We as humans are pretty stuck on this concept of this list that describes the person we are going to be with.
dark hair, light hair.
And it goes on and on. We build this person in our heads, and pretty quickly dismiss anyone who does not fit these requirements. At one point in my life I was the same way. In my mind I saw what I considered the perfect man in my head. his striking features and charismatic personality. And I thought, at one point, that I had found him. "This guy is everything on my list. Just what I wanted."
But little did I know then, that God has SO much more for me than a silly artificial list that I had created.
The person you are going to marry is so much more than the color of their hair. So much more than the size of their pants. So much more than their height, and the way they talk.
I, personally, Put my heart in God's hands, and trust him to let me be with the Godly man he wants for me.
Don't let silly words in a list define who you love. As @michelllewang said, "People arent lists."
