My mom always joked that I was a bag lady. Having the right bag filled with the right things. And the older I get that has yet to change. But with that being said I can be a bit of a packer. I like to pack and be prepared for anything. But when it comes to Christmas parties or any holiday party the last thing you need is a five section college ruled notebook and four school highlighters when attending a christmas party. So here is a little guide with the basics you need to have with you at any party setting.
First off you need a bag. I love this one I got from Target a couple years ago in the back to school section. Its cheap, gold, and if it gets messy, you wash it out and don't have to worry about it.
Now for the contents. One thing I never not have on me is something to write with. Here I have a papermate felt tip pen, and a target pencil from the dollar section. Im now realizing the one I grabbed out of my pencil cup is not sharpened but Its highly advised that if youre going to bring a pencil anywhere that you have it sharpened.
Next I have little peices of gum. Gum is always a safe bet. No matter what youre eating or doing. When you go to a party having fresh breath while conversing or discovering the missletoe, you will be glad you had a minty little square in your bag.
Hand Sanitizer... or "Santa-tizer". A little fresh me up and a way to skip running to the bathroom every so often. Youre walking around a party, conversing and touching shoulders, and chairs, and cups, and bottles and handles. An ant-bacterial is a GOOD IDEA!
Lipstick. And for the Holiday's, RED! (Red liptstick guide here: http://www.allisonderosia.com/blog/red-lipstick-guide ) I have the Nars Dragon Girl (A Taylor Swift Approved color). And Chapstick. If youre wearing lipstick and talking and eating and its cold you want to keep your lips mousterized and not chapped. Shown I have the Chapstick total Hydration in Soothing Oasis.
At the top I have a pair of pearl earings. Theyre my absolute favorite style to wear. Anything pearl Is a go-to for me especially in the winter. And if you're anything like me, they usually end up in my purse anyways by the end of the night, you may want to invest in a small earing case. I have one from Anne Klien (Not Pictured) but I love it!
Lastly, Perfume. This may coinside with the gum and the missletoe. You want to smell good. And heres my most favorite perfume. You can tell because its really pretty much empty here. Versace Yellow Diamond. Now I wouldnt bring this entire bottle anywhere, but I would wear it and even bring either a sample, or a little travel sized sprayer for it.
Now you of course add some money and a card and your phone and you can even add some things like lotion or a charging cube. Comment below some things you like to carry on you through out the Holiday season!
