College so far has taught me some important things, and given me some interesting life lessons. and to make it easier, heres a list.
1.Not trying=Not and option.
-In highschool i never really put an effort in and got by with good grades, but now that is SO not an option.
2.You will always be tired.
-No matter how early you go to bed, or how late your first class is in the morning. Naps always sounds more rewarding than that stupid english paper you have to write.
3.Saving money. Necessary but Hard.
-Though you know you need to buy (I prefer to rent) your books, pay for gas, get food, buy the coffee to keep yourself awake (See number 2), You will find things you'd rather by. In my case that includes candles, throw pillows/blankets, and this time of year, CHRISTMAS PRESENTS.
4.The world it out to get you.
-Whether you admit it or not, People are not always going to be fair, kind, and considerate to you. Whether its your atheist History teacher, kid who will not put in any effort into the group project,or the Nasty guy you work with. Society and people are for the most part in it for their own self interest, so don't worry about how other people are hurting and bringing you down, think of ways you can bring them up, and keep your head high and shoulders back. No point feeding a nasty flame.
5.coffee is a friend.
This is coming from a tea finatic. I don't know what switched in my brain but all of a sudden I turn 18, and I go to coffee shops and actually order coffee. Like an Americano in the biggest size they have.
