So first of all how cute is the pink theme? and the bag? I LOVE this.
I got this in the mail the other day and have been playing around with some of the products and thought I would let you know my thoughts and ideas about the products that came in my bag this month!
The bag: First of all, the bag is the cutest one yet, and Im already using it as a mini purse.. so for me, a hit.
The Vintage lipgloss (Top left) : First off I am not a fan of lip gloss. I try to like it but I am super picky and have only found like one I really like. But so far, I am actually really impressed by this brand that I haven't heard of before. Since I have gotten, I have used it everyday. So far, a hit! http://www.vintagecosmetics.com/
Tre'Stique Blush stick: Okay I LOVE this so far. It is a great color, great formula, and not much to say, but I am a BIG fan of this product.
Ciate mini Nail Polish- Forgive me I don't have it next to me, and I don't feel like going to check the name but It is that super pretty pail pink color. Now I love the brush on this, but I felt like even after 2 coats I didn't have a lot of color to my nail. So I would like to try others from the brand, maybe more pigmented, but for this particular color I will have to say this one was a miss.
Cake heavy hand cream- maybe Im weak, but I couldn't get it open and I can't get it to close once I finally did open it. It is a great hand cream, scent was weird. this was a miss for me. (couldn't find link)
And last we have the IT cosmetics bye bye concealer- This concealer is realllllly full coverage.... The shade they sent me was a bit light for me, but I have to say, It does what it says. So far Im not sure if I will buy it in the full size, But I can get back to you on that.
Thats everything for this month, https://www.ipsy.com/new?refer=2vwlt Click the link and get your own beauty bag!

Isaiah 12:2 "2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense ; he has become my salvation.”
This is a verse that speaks absolute volumes to me for a million reasons. But as a teenager, and quickly coming to the end of my teen years, I, as almost everyone my age, has had this weight of responsibility set, or rather dropped onto my shoulders.
Not one specific person, not society (Which seems to be our quick blame for everything), not a job. But just growing and gaining so much knowledge about the world around me. From the War in the middle east, to the tension here in America, from this notion that I have to be graceful, and beautiful, and kind, and put together at all cost. I put it on myself and this bible verse clearly states that is not needed. That God is our SALVATION. He is the boat that is carrying us to shore no matter how many waves, storms, or sharks there are in the waters. We don't have to, and we shouldn't lean unto our selves.
We live in a time where everyone feels emotionally attacked by everything and I can be the same way. I can take offense to things that have absolutely no connection to me, yet somewhere in me I build up a wall. But God doesn't want that. He is our support, and our strong hold that, I feel, so many of us often forget and let our own selves try to run to world and figure it out on our own.
We have a God that tells us to NOT be afraid. How can we live such defensive and even offensive lives when every single day we have such a powerful, and good thing to live for. A love of God, and Love for those around us.
Maybe Im talking to myself. Maybe others relate. Either way, God is our Salvation. Our hope. God is God.. and thats pretty astonishing.
