heres a little look into my summer music from throwback to country to ragea, to maroon 5.
Another weekend, another Detroit adventure right?
This weekened me and 16 or so other family members found our way out in Eastern Market exploring the fun culture and vendors of Detroit. From fresh Agave Lemonade and custard pie samples to pretty flowers. Here are some photos from our little big adventure.
I got to discover a whole new part of Detroit today. And everyone needs to discover this little gem. Filled with flowers, life, music, and sweet little babes playing in the fountain on the river.
For the longest time I took the time to argue my opinion on face book. Tried to get people to see the way I thought. That maybe just maybe if they saw this issue from my point of view things will change. Unfortunately that only ended in argumenentive comments and hurt feelings.
I would get so worked up on these ideas and thoughts that it would stress me out. It's would tick in my brain reminding me constantly that someone disagrees. That someone doesn't get what I'm trying to say.
Then all of a sudden I kind of realized a little something.
Nobody actually cares that I'm white. Nobody actually cares if I wasn't. Nobody cares that I disagree with a lot of things and agree with a lot of things.
So many of these issues and arguments we simply just build up in our heads blowing them so far out of the water we can't even find which river it came from.
Of course there are issues that are obviously so extremely important like equality and justic and all that, but we see things we don't like and feel so personally victimized until we realize it has absolutely nothing to do with us. And odds are it never will.
thats my little rant.
