This is probably expected but I can not believe i'm starting my second year of college. Im half way done with my last year of being a teenager and I'm having to adult and that my friends has been an adjustment. Suddenly I need to seriously organize, whether thats my closet, my room, my planner, my desk, etc. I have learned that just because my room is pretty doesn't mean it's functional in my day to day life. Which comes into the 5 things I wish I did this time last year. 1. Have the files in my desk organized. Having paperwork and bills and other random little things in their own special home, that I can look back on when needed. 2.Cute backpacks don't always do what they need to. Mine broke within a couple months. This time sturdy, not "purdy" 3.Good diet. PSA: FRESHMAN FIFTEEN IS AN ACTUAL THING DON'T PRETEND YOU WON'T BE AFFECTED. I wish I would not have taken the lazy route when it came to food and just simply had healthier choices rather than the constant fast food. 4. Multi-task with your common sense. Multi-tasking in college is definitely a required skill, but that doesnt mean watching endless stupid youtube videos while studying, and playing video games with an open book on your lap. Multi task but don't be dumb. I hope everyone has an awesome school year whether you're going into high school, college, kindergarten, or your first big job!
