Like I said in my post about the Payne's restaurant, I spent last weekend in Indianapolis Indiana for a family wedding shower. From running around downtown with no coat when it was twelve degrees to being terribly sick the entire weekend, we still managed to have an awesome time celebrating my cousin and his soon to be wife and It could not have been more fun.
Clearly I had not taken enough pictures, at all. Half of which is to do I was super sick all weekend but also because I was with so much family, I was just enjoying my time with them, and also the times where I was feeling decent, I wanted to be with the amazing ladies for the wedding shower, not on my phone. So the weekend went by in a blur of pretty views, and happy tears, and laughs, and hot decaf tea late at night in the hotel lobby, and face masks and just some serious girl bonding.
Trips like this, the ones we make in a single day or just an overnight always prove to be so memorable. And this time getting to be in a city I've never been to before, with family who lives so far away and for such an amazing reason. I got to see a little bit of the city, and I would never have thought that Indianapolis would have such beautiful architecture.
And though I didn't get tons of pictures, I still got a few and ate good food, laughed good laughs, and spent good time together.
