There was a time in my life where I saw strong women on social media and rolled my eyes. You may read this and roll your eyes yourself, but to me it is mind boggling that feminism annoyed me at one point. Before I knew what feminism really is. Before I knew that equality and feminism lay hand in hand. And there are some women I follow that help increase my understanding, and knowledge of what it means to be a woman who works hard, is unapologetic about being a woman and what makes me, me. Rachel HollisThere are few things I enjoy more then sitting down either scrolling through her instagram feed, watching a livestream of her and her husband, listening to her podcast Rise or Rise Together, and even more so getting in bed at night with Girl, Wash Your Face or Girl, Stop appologizing. Basicaly what I am saying is that Rachel Hollis gives out SO much free content on her blog and isntagram to inspire and lead woman. Her books and podcasts are filled with encouragment. She is so unappologetic about what it means to be a goal digger. Emily LeyEmily Ley, is this beautiful spirited mom of three, who practices what she preaches. Her thing is, Grace Not Perfection. She offers not only The Simplified Planner, but a super awesome collection of books that really gracefully teach you how to achieve goals, clean your house, get your life together and have grace for yourself as you go along. Jameela JamilJameela, actress from the good place, has made waves recently on social media. She is outspoken and outsoken about what matters. Going after problematic celebrities like the Kardashians who abuse their influence to make a quick buck, and celebrates women. With candid pictures about her stretch marks, honesty about eating disorders and mental health. She is the first to admit she has more to learn and is such an inspiration and she is one everyone shold follow. Chrissy TeigenChrissy Teigan is SO Chrissy Teigen. I feel like I have seen her in a towel more than I have ever seen anyone in a towel. She, like Jameela, is absolutely unapologetic about being herself and what better inspiration is that? Billie EilishBilie Eilish is such an odd character. And that is exactly why she made this list. She dresses how she wants, she sings how she wants, she does what she wants. And I have heard so many people talk about how weird and crazy and wild she is, and thats exactly it. Women should be allowed to be women, in whatever extent that means to her. Taylor SwiftAre you aware that she won a lawsuit against a man who sexually assaulted her and won $1. And then went on to donate money to organizations that support victims of sexual assault. A woman who is constantly being dragged by the media, and remains a record breaking artist says a lot. *Click on photos for the photos' sources
