' What worked and what didnt. What I reach for regularly and what I dont. yes: concealer, mascara, super pure serum, make up jelly, wowder brush, boybrow no: skin tint on fence: lip balm, blush, wowder So Im going to start with what has worked for me, and what I do really like. 1. Stretch Concealer, $18 I love love love this natural and easily blend-able formula. I use this everyday for a natural coverage to brighten the under-eyes. This is a definite yes. and genuinely reach for this everyday. 2. Lash Slick $16 If I'm not going out, I'm wearing this mascara. It is SO good, it stays on, doesnt flake, and comes off easily makeup remover or wipes. It lengthens, and adds volume in such a natural way and I absolutely love this and will definitely repurchase. 3. Super Pure Serum $28 This stuff is so good. This may be my favorite thing of all the things I got. It feels good on my skin and it really does balance out skin. I find my splotchy redness has gone down so much and I use this every day and for someone who is inconsistent with skincare. 4. Cloud Paint in Puff (Cream Blush) - $18 Im not one for cream blush but this is such a great product that I use this every single day. For a more natural makeup day, or even a more dressed up look I will use this. I would do maybe a darker color than this next time, but its a nice natural color. 5. Boybrow (eyebrow pomade) $16 I use this to give a more natural filled in brow look. I already have some pretty substantial brows, so I don't need a whole lot of work but I think this was just what I needed. I still go between this filling in with eyeshadow, but this also helps keep their shape. 6. Milky Jelly Cleanser $18 Smell is very light, works great, very gentle, and doesnt burn eyes when you get eye makeup off. Its simple and effective and I really like this because It doesnt dry my skin out. On the fence: Lip Balm (balm.com). Its good and I will use it often, but It doesnt necessarily stand out among other thick vasaline type balms. especially for the $12 price tag. Now the couple thinks I don't like were the perfecting skin tint and the wowder.
The perfecting skin tint gave no noticeable coverage, and didn't seem to improve my skin either. It didn't hurt but it didn't really help. I found this fell a bit flat for me. and the wowder patched up on the concealer, and I much prefer a simple drug store white undereye powder. and I don't often reach for it and when I do Im not wowed. No pun intended but I guess it worked for me.
