well hi there.
its been a while.
like a few months while.
i know.
these past few months have been filled with adventure and curiosities. I’ve met new people and and done things that are a bit crazy. I’ve started pulling away from some of my social media accounts and really taking time to focus on my life and stop worrying so much about everyone else’s.
This isn’t a post saying I’m back and better than ever. I’m not. I’m of course still working on myself as I always will be, and I have a lot of room to grow and of course growing closer in understanding of my God and who he is is only making things better.
however, this past week I’ve spent some time in one of my most favorite places on Earth.
Madison, Wisconsin.
ive grown up going to Wisconsin to visit family and when they moved away I was sure I would never really go back until more family moved out there. So I had tons of posts last year about Wisconsin, and this year you only get one but it may be my favorite. This week has been spent with my amazing family, amazing new friends, surrounded by laughter, generosity, and a lot of spiked seltzer water. Swimming in Lake Mendota with the view of the capital and a yellow sail boat to your right, and green woods to your left. Standing on the dock looking over lake Manona watching the different fireworks go off around the lake talking about the magic of sparklers and meanings of names.
As a recovering over-sharer, I have withdrew so much of my opinion and stories from my blog.. It’s turned into just my pictures but this trip I wanted to talk about a bit too.

now these pictures aren’t the best. I didn’t take a lot of time to get the perfect angle or use my fancy camera. These are jsut a few of the shots I got from my week in one of my most favorite places in the world.
